What's new in my blogger life? Well, I have decided to give up the dream of being a Pet Consultant or a Chocolate Connoisseur, or even a world famous Network Marketer. Why? I have a new ambition...and that is to be the best ovarian cancer survivor I can be - for my husband, for my kids, and for the glory of God.
You see, back in March of this year, I was on the ball...and juggling many other balls as well. While I felt this was such an important part of who I was, I soon came to realize that I was not defined by what activities I could get myself to do!!
It was time for a change...and that came when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The world stopped spinning for a few seconds and I was not in control any longer. While sorrow hit me like a ton of bricks, my doctor sent for his wife, and we prayed. Dr. Andy, his wife Charlene, Lyndon and myself. What a peace that came over me. What a time for God to reach down and let me know that He was in control. These next few posts will journal my life as a believer in Healing and God's great power.
